Since its inception in 2008 we are encouraging all initiatives concerning education, employment and vocational training in the Belgian audiovisual industry.
Our mission reflects our role as a wide strategic body that works with employers, unions, learning and training providers and students, helping them to realize their career aspirations. is a knowledge centre, a vital resource and facilitator regarding the development and renewal of competences by education and innovation. is financed through employer’s contributions, a sectoral agreement with the Flemish & Walloon governments, income-generating activities (training) and revenues generated from our own resources.’s expertise & services consist of :
•       supporting and guiding new and existing talent in our industry throughout training;
•       provide career advice through our website / personal contact;
•       encouraging training for individuals and employers;
•       recognising the skills of people working in our industry;
•       activities that enhance the employability and enterprise skills of students and graduates ;
•       carrying out research to find out about the training and skills-needs of our industry;
•       being an objective knowledge-centre, positioned at the heart of the Belgian Audiovisual industry;
•       following and anticipating the latest trends regarding needed competences and changing  jobprofiles in today’s workspace;
•       identifying employee skill gaps ;
•       preparing itineraries required to allow talent from across the TV -film industry the chance to step up and develop skills for TV - Film;
•       advising the Higher Education and training policy (government). is also curating Mediacademie:
Mediacademie is an initiative curated by with the financial support of the Flemish Minister of Media and focuses on the development of the skills (and future skills) needed for occupations in the industry, supporting companies to develop a sustainable HR policy and informing everyone about the importance of lifelong-learning.
