UPFF - Union des Producteurs francophones de Films

Founded in 1986, the UPFF is the historical association of producers in Wallonia-Brussels. It is the largest in terms of seniority and membership: it now has 38 members from 36 companies which account for the vast majority of active production companies in Wallonia-Brussels.

Our members produce films by the Dardenne brothers, Joachim Lafosse, Bouli Lanners, Marion Hänsel, Marc-Henri Wajnberg, Jaco Van Dormael, Chantal Akerman, Gérard Corbiau, Frédéric Fonteyne, Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier, Nabil Ben Yadir, Lucas Belvaux or Benoit Mariage yet.

Since its inception, the Union actively participates in the meetings, debates and reflections on the policy to be in film. It works especially with the Wallonia-Brussels Federation on issues related to finance and promote our works, but also follows the audiovisual materials at federal and European level.

The UPFF is an expert on the issues of financing and promotion of Belgian cinema. It is closely monitoring European issues concerning broadcasting.
